i did not like my experience because on judge was not making eye contact with me and was asking things that were already ovibously that were already mentioned. the other judge was really nice and everybody liked my table so overall it was a nice experience minus that one person. I loved being able to walk around and see peoples accomplishments

capstone:
How your Infographic Poster relates to your Capstone Project. Did you have to do more research to complete your poster? What was the easiest and hardest thing about creating the infographic? Did you create your infographic in the Winter Term or this semester? If in Winter Term, what additions or changes did you make? Is your poster done or do you still have some tweaking to finish?
my infograhpic relates to my capstone because it is a classroom setting and it has quotes from people i have interviewed on thier view of hispanic education. i learned that sometimes its hard to talk about what people feel/believe/think about sensitive issues such as education and things that could effect thier own education such as family issues etc. the easiest and hardest things where that i did not know what to do to capture my vision and capstone into the poster but it was easy because i loved making it pretty. i did mine in winterterm. i added new info into the postits and i added more decoration. i also changed the books and picture
this is my final poster but there is always room for imprivement

youtubePSA :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zninXYFDqvs
this video is serious and yet concise.
The message is clear and makes the audience entitled to go to school and succeed.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbIpU_lN1bo
i like this video beause it has different shots of people and different lights which makes the audience more intreged. It is also short and sweet with the website shown at the end which is helpful to students.

My PSA :
- I will emphasis the points that cause Hispanics from not graduating college or even entering college?
- I think it would be approripate to have like an interview or a cute motivation story
- i want it to be me or someone else talk in my video to make it personal
- i want the camera to have a close up to my face, then i start giving scary facts about Hispanics in college. then i introduce myself and say i wont be another statistics

this article discussed alot of what i already knew such as how to make a psa or what a psa even was, but it did remind me that sound is also a key factor in video because it helps develop emotion. Another thing that i liked the article mentioned to make the video clear. Sometimes with videos you watch them but then you dont know what you watched so its super important to make it clear and short.

CAPSTONE PROJECT STATEMENT OF INTENT
1. the goals of the project is to show other Hispanic students that they too can accomplish great things and overcome challenging obstacles in life. Another portion of my capstone (MAYBE) is to teach parents about the college application process and how it works so they can motivate their own children.
2.this issue is important because it deals with the education of the Hispanic population which is such a huge percentage of Americas people. If many young Hispanic students do not graduate from college they will inventivably affect the nations economy and workforce output.
3.These goals fit with my career because while yes i do want to study international studies, i also have a love for my own culture and how it mingles in with the cultures from around the world which can be found anywhere in america. I have also considered the thought of being and immigration lawyer.
4.my project will give back to society because the video will show other Hispanics that they will eventually have a better future but also to show society the truth behind why some Hispanic scholars don't graduate.
